Im getting video Ipod tomorow 30GB..was wondering if any1 here got 1..if so do u have any problems with it?

Hey mate, im getting an ipod for xmas, My dad has one, my brother has one, they love them.

They are reliable, and you never really have any problems with them as there are no moving parts.

It is amazing.

i have a ipod mini. i had 1 prob with it that made me delet all my songs but no biggie ;)

.ex. stay away from the nano bro...screen scratches very very easy

only bad thing ive heard about the video ipod's is the battery life, you might get 30GB of films/video clips but its not a long lasting battery

my friend dropped one, not even that far, it broke, and the screen was total f'ed.

cant u get some sorta insurance out on em like a fone? after all.. they cost as much!!

i have a mini, i like.

i had a battery problem with my ipod mini, send it back to apple and they sent me a brand-new one :)


they are really good tho, nice and smooth :D

I'm seriously considering buying one in the new year sales as I've heard they may be half the price they are now.

they dont get good reviews in tech mags and stuff as after a while there batteries total drain of life

I got PalmOne Treo with 1GB SD card and a hack to play any format. Don't need one :D

Nay nay Perry, all is stored on a hard drive.

I only use flash memory (IRiver T10), will never have an ipod because of the known unreliability with the shipments around here. Pretty much everyone i've know to have one has had problems.
