if you user NetScape you are better off setting it up manuly their tech-support i found out sucks.

NetScape Software don't let you disable auto-disconnect at all.

it will give you the telephone numbers in your area, use it.

manuly setup:
type in the connect name.
type in the telephone number
user name: e-mail@netscape.com
password: use what they setup or you have it set to.

any anything other you can think of.

now disable the auto-disconnect select [never]
