hey, that church with the skulls inside ... ewan mcgregor went in there when he was on his moterbike trip round the world. It was on the tv, was prettey interesting. good pics mate.

what's the deal with all the bones / history behind it?

i dont actually kno :( we didnt get any leaflets or info that day, well we did but i wasnt listening lol, think its something to do with running out of room for graves.. not sure but if any1 can tell me then plz do :D

i did some research :cool:

i belive the church is called the Sedlec Ossuary.

the bones were dug up out of the church grounds to make room for more bodies to be buried :/ the bones were dug up and placed into a crypt in 1511.

the church was decorated internally by a wood carver in 1870 usign the bones from the crypt.

apparently there were 40,000 skeletons available at the time for him to use :p
