Goodbye to Star Trek :(!

Well last night I settled down to watch the "last ever" episode of the series Star Trek Enterprise and what a big let down this last episode was! It was far to fragmented a story line and I got the impression the entire cast were just going through the motions, (presumably the loss of a regular paycheck has that effect on actors), so this "last ever" episode was a terrible end to a series that has run for almost 40 years on television.

Thank god for Farscape is all I can say!

Regards from a still sad Baddog

Im not a trekkie as such, but i appeciated the star trek series and watched them if i had nothing better to do. But Enterprise sucked, to me star trek ended after the second episode of enterprise...

Spike Tv and Scifi Channels are still playing Star trek, both are playing the newer serials mainly.

think the old Star-trek is dead 1960s.

i watch the socall movie if you can call it that: trekkie
it mostly shows Startrek fans around the world. i watch it like 30min then i deleted it all together. should not been listed as a movie at all.

I really think that the whole franchise has been let down badly by this lack lustre finish. There are of course as Chief pointed out, the re-runs on various channels around the globe so that at least is something.

For myself I have always been a big fan of all the Star Trek series but I've never considered myself a "trekkie" or what ever.

I think the success of Star Trek was the fact that as a race this sci fi series was optimistic about the future of mankind and that we had overcome our petty differences here on earth, however in the light of recent events I can see that that possible hope of a better future is even more remote now.

Regards :*(
