Yep its the service that cost, not space or transfer. If you wan't good servers you need to pay a bit extra :)

unless you got a big ass site (not some somethine-designs.com thing) i doubt you would ever need more than a gig

im also more than likely going to be hosting for a private game server, and they get around 100-400 hits a day, so i know i will need some of it, but with the game client at 100-200mb and over 200 downloads a week it could get close ot been used lol

webhosting doesn't 3qual game servers...?

Depends on the host, just because its a webhost doesn't mean you cant host games, but it would be up to the site of course.

Its rather possible as he do have SSH access, just doubt they will allow it but you never know.

Find something with unlimited bandwidth...enough space...and good service ;) Hope I helped LOL

unlimited bandwidth doesn't exist...usually when a host statest that, and you read the terms, there's something to it like, unless we run out kind of a deal...or all teh bandwidth on that server (shared with everyone else) ... i'd suggest finding a set amount of space / bandwidth incase the server runs out of space and bandwidth, you'd be able to hold up in court better (not that it would go that far...hopefuly)

unlimited bandwidth is bs yeah. You come on a server with so many sites then... that in the first place it will probably be very slow, and also more down then up.

Thats my experience in such hosts

besides if you need unlimited bw you might as well go buy your own server...
