not to fond of the polygons being visible on the render all that much but I do like how u did the bg and 2d, maybe just the render without the polygon lining would be better ;)

btw tzer you ever done any poster size pieces or even better be interested in doing a collab poster with me?

yeah, i agree with rider. everything is sweet except for the polygon lining :s

First render your image like normal with whatever material you like then, go into your "Render Settings", and click the "Effects" tab on the left, then click the arrow in the top right next to "Post Effect" and choose "Cell Renderer" and check these boxes
CLICK HERE FOR IMAGE

Render it with the same settings for output that you normally use ie: Targa/Alpha Channel
Then in Photoshop just open both renders and blend one over the other...

or you can use these settings and it will render like this:
