hello, what the hell is happend to my PC (windows) i cant play music on my windows media player and i cant see any movie on it,


and my windows movie maker is ****ed to, i try to edit some movie file in it, it closes down, :(

look try scan disk ok

Start>run> type in: chkdsk /F /R

then a window popup Press Y hit enter

restart your system.

think what happen is filing system gone bad this will fix it.

control panel > add or remove programs > add/remove windows components > windows media player.

reboot

redownload and install

personally, i would uninstall it and not re add it :D

K-Lite Mega Codec Pack, including every codec you could ever need, BS player, media player classic, real alternative and quicktime alternative. basically they cut the mustard when WMP cannot (too often), and install clean (spyware free) versions of sofware which is a lot more than you can say for Real player and Quicktime and windows media player!!

thanx guys, yeah im using winap already, got myself 3 different codec pacs but that beats em all "k-lite ultra pack" thanx
