D-Day footage

just saw this, and its interesting to actually see the footage from the actual event

it shows them planning, gathering together, moving towards the beaches and then going onto them

scary stuff..

DevilDog#1 06-09-2005 01:04 PM

Yeah I saw some on History Channel. Peopl were falling left and right...

atholon 06-09-2005 01:24 PM

You sure gain a new appreciation for what they did. I honestly think that other countries take this for granted. Ones that were not even involved in the War. If you think about it, if Russia, the USA and UK or Austrailia fell... there'd be no stopping them.

These horrendous figures reflect the stupidity of humankind, all those lives lost is far to high a price to pay so we must find a way eventually to resolving our differences by means other than warfare.
