Cool editor
Yo guys,
My friend that has been helping me out with NerdHq told me about this: http://tinn.solarvoid.com/ It is pretty good, I may never go back to notepad again :) |
CooLioo!! I'll try it when I get home. :D
THanks for sharing! :gj: |
does look impressive, thanks
Np, I like it because it is kind of like firefox, it lets you open your pages as tabs instead of whole new windows. It also pretties the Unix code stuff up so it is easier to read.
man it good really good, i can see what you mean thanks for sharing that with us atholon
Is it as good as DW Chief?? :D
SS would be nice :D |
I use 1st page 2000, nice proggie :)
crimson editor is also pretty good, some sorta thing. Very small app + allows you to make your own syntax if you wanna. I use it for my custom functions in php so it highlights them :)

I tried that and just never got into it. I like this one though. Isn't crimson a little more sophisticated?
no...dude if i could figure out crimson editor it's simple. All i use it for is syntax highlitng, and the line numbers (when i have long scripts, this is very helpful to find the error)
i like macromedia, but ill look at this new program
macromedia also costs a lot... i don't have that kind of money and i don't steal software. just not my style
me either, i don't steal any of my programs.
Takes a while to get used to the tabs on this, I keep thinking I have closed the windows lol.

want some free stuuf that is open source there is www.openoffice.org and theres all kinds of neat stuff
personally, I like PHP Designer 2005 a ton better. (http://www.mpsoftware.dk/)
It features brace and ('s highlighting. (meaning, select either a {, }, (,) and it will find and highlight it's matching one). It also will provide function hints. ie, you type in "mysql_connect (" wait a second and a little window will pop up telling you what the paramaters are, and which one it is expecting first, second, etc. IcI |
that looks nice, but for me crimson editor works fine, altho the whole parameter would help me. (Altho when i got crimson editor my php coding was becoming more structured, and crimson editor colors it and let's me be lazy on the structuring :D lol
