it's not the smartest thing in the world to do in a plane .. fire a gun ... if you miss and it hits the wall of the plane ... well ... your f**ked with a 10 foot pole...

Firing a gun through the plane wont do much decompression wise, you can blow out a whole window and except for the passengers that are in that row will feel it, but everyone else will be fine.
