depending on how much dry ice u use or the size of the pipe used it can take anywhere from 15min to over 1 hour for it to go boom, when it does go off depending on the thickness of pipe can have the same power of 1stick to 1.5 sticks of dynamite. they use a similur method to blast open wells where the clay has formed a shell preventing the water from flowing

Those are considered real bombs here. bombsquad had something about it. :eek: one of em said some kids were sticking em in mailboxes and blowing the (*)(* out of them.

ya and it dont show up on metal detector if ya use pvc pipe, since the dry ice is just co2 in solid form the detectors dont pick it up
