Letting Nova know what I think of the fact that DFX does not support LAN Play !
 

I tried sending Novalogic a message asking why DFX does not support LAN Play (without Internet) on their Tech Feedback Form but got "Error 500, Internal Server Error" so I tried the link 'Report a Web Problem' and got the same error, darn, I so badly wanted to ask what the hell they were smoking when they decided to drop LAN support !? How can they assume everyone in the world has Internet Access !?

NL people swing by here annonomously on occasion, so itll be seen, but i recomend going to www.novaworld.com and signingup to the forums, lots on NL people there.

Hi BB/Mike, Novalogic do not have public forums, or I am I missing something ? They have their Novaworld section but you need a license key to log in, that doesn't help cos I have no intention of buying DFX without LAN suport. It was Novalogic that linked me to NovaHQ.

the official novalogic forum are at novaworld.com in the link posted above, but you are right in that you do need a cd key to register.

I dont think youll get NL to include LAN support quickly, more likely that some clever programmer may make a mod to allow it. The RRP of the game $20USD limited the amount of stuff they can include.

If you post in the tech support forum one of the guys there might be able to think of something which would allow you to play...

Also, may i ask how NL directed you to us?

"Error 500, Internal Server Error" usually means server is down.

Dollar Vs Pound

the pound is more then the dollar so you spend less then we can buy things in the US.

think it more like three (four) pounds to one dollar.

if it more then the import tax is at work and the whole Sellers are jacking up the price on it.

Do what I did m8 Print this out and take it to game store, Nova sent it to me in their news letter.

I phoned our local game and said I had it and they said print it out and bring it with you its only £14.99 then. ;)
