Hey,

I usually use my JVC headphones to listen to computer stuff but I have some none amplified speakers and when I plug them in it is super quiet and I can't hear anything. I have my volume maxed out on all levels. I tried the speakers on another computer and they work fine... anyone have any ideas?

plugged into the wrong port on your sound card

OR soundcard can not deliver the power necessary to drive the speakers

i think hes right, i done same thing.. was 3 colours, green red and blue, i accidently put it in2 the blue one and it was dead quiet, swapped 2 green and it worked perfect
