NW New Cheater Policies
 

Dear All

We are implementing a new NovaWorld policy effective immediately. All moderators will now lock and move any and all threads that discuss cheating. I no longer want to see any posts that do any of the following:

1.) Accuse anyone of cheating

2.) Post any links, information, and/or actual cheats

3.) Talk about how cheats work or how to make them work

Instead of reporting cheaters through the forums we will now require all players to report cheaters through the cheater reports page. We have new procedures in place that will allow us to better track players that are cheating. Once you fill out the cheater report, NovaLogic will then generate a list of the players that were accused of cheating. Based on this list we will be monitoring those players in game. If you are caught cheating then you will be banned from the game for good. If the accusations were false, you will be released from the internal watch list. If we receive many complaints your account could possibility be put on the official watch list. If after review, we find that you were in fact not cheating then your name will be removed from the watch list.

Any users that continue to talk about cheats, post about cheats, or accuse other players of cheating in the forums will be subject to the banning system.

Talking about cheating in the forums only helps others learn how to cheat. NovaLogic is taking additional steps to prevent cheating and to ban those that cheat. We have many programs in place that monitor cheaters. We don't tell the consumer how we monitor cheaters because then the cheaters will know how to adapt to our protocols. We are addressing the problems and with your help we will catch them all.

The community is at its best when people aren't accusing one another of cheating or any type of misbehavior. Also, the games are at their best when people play fairly. The moderators will start implementing this immediately. If you have any additional questions please refer to the cheater report – if that doesn't help then please contact tech support.

finally, they are going to stop the bashing on their forums of people saying people cheat

people should use the cheaters report option in the site and stop flaming the game or the maker of it.

it like hackers who make Virus to attack system on the INTERNET, its the same way for them who make Cheaters-tools and them who use them. you find a site tell Novalogic, inc about it (e-mail the URL address to it) and see a low lifer cheater in the game server go to the site www.novaworld.com and log-in do the report up on the cheater.

Posting about a cheater or so call cheater don't help no one at all. pass the word to the tech-team let them look into it. using the cheater report.

they are banning members all the time even DF:LW they have banned them for cheating.

Cheater report option is located in the Player search area.
