hey guys, anyone know of any good, easily customisable forums???

i know of invisionfree, myfreebb and a few others. please post any you use/know of

I'm investigating Simple Machines Forum (smf).

It has a package management system that will allow you to install mods almost as easily as installing a program on your computer.

They don't do PHP to my knowledge only ASP.

my host is affiliated with completefreehost...I guess they are good.

I was a moderator on their support forums.

That was when they only offered paid hosting.

I'd offer hosting at NerdHq.net but we are full at the moment.

yes smf is free.

Actually, I'd say Proboards is the easiest to customize lol. Then XMB, IPB, PHPBB, vB, and so on.

Yea phpbb is very easy...check mine out, http://blackhawkjedi.proboards33.com - my old forum that I used temporarily for my clan...

There is a bunch of stuff you can do to it, try Zanamoto Designs and Solid Snake Designs and PB Support V2 Forum...

XBM is so easy to skin, vB is even bigger for themeing but its harder. Good luck with it mate :gj:

If you can get soemone to host your site...NerdHQ cough cough LOL...Its very easy to install skins with any forum pretty much. Check out my forum, I got like 4 forum skins to choose from I think :D
