Please Help Anyone!!!
 

Ok i just put DF2 back on my new pc after not playing for about 3 years, now my new pc is top of the line gam ing pc and the top of the line vid card and when i go to play DF2 it looks all chopped up and brightness is bad, could my new pc be the problem???? I would really like to play DF2 again...Thanks for any help and all settings on the game had been changed to make it work but like i said its all choppy, granted the resolution doesn't go higher than 800X600 but i did have better luck with my old 800 mhz pc and 32mb graphics card....

you running windows Xp family?
1.) if so did you change the Compatiblity to windows 98/ME or Windows 2000?

2.) you did update the game?

3.) DF1/2 both will look choppy it normal.

4.) you updated your GFX Card lately?

have the game set at full screen software in settings.

it could be your GFX-Card is set to high for the game lower they setting in GFX-Card option you have. is your best bit.

go to your display>settings> below see "Advanced" click-on it.
up top you may see tap with names on them look for the one has your GFX-Card name on it click-on it.

you can play around in there to set it so it look and run better. try and error all it takes.

What GFX-card you using?

Geforce 6800 Ultra

i can't find my gfx settings, its was in my quicklaunch now it isn't anymore where can i get find it??

Right click on empty space of Desktop -> settings -> advanced

2 increase DF2 brightness ~gamma 255
2 increase resolution to 1024*768 go to DF2 folder, find df2.cfg file, open it with text editor, change game_res to 6
