It has become more popular as the U.K. slowly begins to break up Mike. As the other nations that make up the U.K. have started to go their seperate ways so then the English national identity has begun to reasert itself.

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not but it is nice to celebrate our common heritage as English people:)!!!!
