Empty Servers?
 

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed how many servers never seem to have any players on BHD?

i noticed that aswell, but most of the time i just thought it was bcos of time zones and things like that but some squads r wasting money if u ask me :-|

think they move on to other games that gave them more action in them. could be a meddle of the week slow down too.

btw is there any good Companys that host bhd and jo ?

I guess with so many new on line games out now this was bound to happen but it's a shame to see so many servers with no players on them.

I don't know if any of you play these games or if you do if you've noticed the upswing in the # of players, but with Battlfield 1942 Desert Combat Mod and also HalfLife 2 and Counter Strike: Source there seems to be a major upswing.....

Wonder if that's telling somebody something???

I have noticed that the Team Sabre servers are less occupied than the BHD servers.

I've also noticed a sharp decline in the JO/JOE servers. I think the reason for the decline in JO/JOE is due to thae fact that there isn't much variety in maps (if you've seen one jungle, you've seen 'em all). Plus the persistant lagg and bugs in JO doesn't help.

I'm afraid that DF:Next Gen will be more JO performance (or lack of it I should say). Too bad it won't take on BHD's performance; it has it's problems, but is smoother than JO.

i remember the Novalogic, Inc tech-team told me they were going to make a new option soon when players upload maps to Novaworld nova was going to load them maps into their servers the top downloaded maps were to be use, or the best rated maps by members but that die off never happen.

think what kill it is Mods maps were being uploaded and custom maps with a another type of terrain use in them.

they added weather to JOTR that kill me totally off, could not play in them maps it lag way to much for me.

Weather in DF2 was a lot better no lag at all.

Well I've been on BHD again recently and there still a lot of servers but most of them have virtually no one in them, it really is sad I think.

Then again there so many new games now and of course there is the latest offering from Novalogic themselves.

Yep ... People have moved on to DFX MP and MP MOD...

yea but lots of people still play BHD at least its still alive :D.

There is more competition in BHD than there is in DFX and JO/JOE all put together. They made those games too complicated. Delta Force is fun because it is supposed to be simple fun. Maps have nothing to do with it, because most people hate customs. Atleast most of the people I've ever talked to. BHD > DFXJOJOEPOS simply because it is easy, servers are empty cause most of them lag. No one wants to play in laggy servers. If you find a good server, you will generally find people. Also, you will find more GOOD players in stock servers.

well i have to say ive been playing DF X since i got it, its cool been playing alot COOP on nova servers cos they are mostly funand you see alot of team work aswell !
