Weird Event Occurance over the past few days
 

Over the past few days my IE Settings tab stopped working. If i click the IE Settings Tab on my Internet Explorer to change them it says this error but if i do it another way i can access them any ideas what may be causing this!!!

Im working on all of that currently:p

do a scan disk your fileing system got mis-up getting errors from.

Start>run> type in: chkdsk /F

hit enter after a window pop-up Press Y hit enter restart your system.

scandisk> chkdsk /
Fastscan> F
Deepscan> R

check to see you are set as admin of your system.

Ok i went and clicked Run and typed chkdsk /F
a MS DOS Screen Popped Up!!!!With a bunch of stuff then i press enter and it says this other thing MS DOS has been terminated. Press the x in the upper right hand corner when done viewing errors.

What's your OS?

maybe you did not read what i type up?

after the dos box pop-up you are to press "Y-Key" then hit "enter"

there is another way to get to it:
from desktop>My Computer> open it up> see your HHD ( C: ) right Click-on it> see "Properties" click-on it> now see "Tools" click-on Tap> you see Error-Checking or Scan disk there click-on button.

there are option to use auto-fix is what you really need or you can check them all enable and start press on it.

hmm are u signed on as a guest or admin?

start>Control Panel>User Accounts open it up look up your name see what you have either a Admin or Users that is limited options

I may have to wait and have my dad fix it because my computer is different when it comes to user accounts says only to create a new one but i have one because i can log on and off it!!! Only thing i have is Users and it says what i just said create a new account!!! Ill wait and ask him to see why hes good with computers too!!! Thanx guys for yalls help!!!

And how in the world are you creating accounts with ME?:confused: Unless you're using your Dad's PC as a server. :confused:

No my dad has an XP and our Network is all shared together i think sorta. My dad has a T1 Business Server but no we were talking about Your User Account to login for your computer like your startup name and password!!!!! We have 3 computers in this house and a Linksys router there connected to!!!!
