Who makes the best Scary Movies?
 

Id Say Wes Craven or John Carpenter!!!!!!!

I think horror movies are stupid and very unscary but humorous imo. So I have no favorite.

no movie ive seen is scary, books do a better job of scaring people if the reader has imagination....

I have to agree there. I laughed like crazy on Jeepers Creepers.

My favorites would have to be the Wayan brothers, of Scarey Movie fame:D

Jaws scared me..I would just stand there looking at the beach..hmmm..I guess because it wasn't so far fetched ..sharks are real! Then there's that Psycho movie where the lady gets stabbed in the shower...you can't tell me that none of you have gotten soap in your eye because you were peeping to make sure that Psycho wasn't standing there with the butcher knife! ....Those are the only movies that scared me...I think reality shows are scarier just look at the menu ..where the hell are we going these days?


Movies don't scare me..like an old Jamacan hippie freind of mine told me : If you look over your shoulder in fear ...you aren't living right my friend... It really meant a lot to me.

I know when u first saw jaws u were scared everyone about was from where hed come out of the water quickly when u least expect it!!! Some say The Grudge is scary.......... One movie that freaks me out before i sleep is when i watch a Sci Fi movie or so and something unexpected happens when im not really paying attention to whats going to probaly happen next. My mind wanders off a sec then BOOM a monster jumps out from under the bed or so lol!!!!!

John Carpenter has made some very good "scary" movies but I find that all "scary" movies are far to predictable.

Why oh why when someone is told in one of these movies not to go into the cellar/house/woods because some thing evil/nasty/horrible lives there do these idiots do just exactly that and go have a look lol:)????
