PHP uploader question
 

panther.. the PHP uploader script you created .. can you upload .WAV or .MP3 with it ??? im workin on a compilation album with some guys on the net and i need a way for them to upload there music so i can put the CD toghether ???

is this possible with the php uploader??

I'm sure if you edit the coding you can. I dunno if he would want you to edit the coding, but Im sure you can.

you can specify the file extensions to whatever you want. just add .mp3 and .wav to make it accept them :)

It's free to edit all you like as long as my copyright is on there. If you modify it lots put like Modified by Bone by it.

You're going to take mp3s upload them and then make a cd? If so, would probebly good to get the permissions then heh... And it might be nice to use some PHP ID3 reader. (reads the title, album, artist etc from the mp3 file (if its a ID3 tagged mp3 file that is)

he's a music student ;) the compilation will be of his and his friends music they have produced themselves ;)

i do a hip hop and jazz .... but i have recently been attempting to produce some pretty groovie rock tracks

if it doesnt check if file is real img. then just raname your file to mywav.gif or mymp3.gif and upload it like that.

extensions are meaningless as far as the file content.
