NVidia FX 5700LE Game Profile
 

Hi all. I notice in the "Performance & Quality" tab in NVidia advanced options that there are game profiles for soldier of fortune etc.

What I would like to know is: What would be the best settings for me?

My System:

WinXP +SP2
INTEL P4 3gb Threadstepping tech
NVidia FX 5700LE 256mb
RAM: 500mb DDR3200 Ram
1mb connection / 30kbp/s upload

Can I download anything that will update my nvidia to add "Black Hawk Down"?

P.S. I only play Online.

1- go to www.nivdia.com
2- Go to download drivers
3- Graphic drivers
4- Geforce/tnt (You do got Geforce right?)
5- Select the year and the Program u got (Windows xp 2000 is for me :D )

I don't think there are any profiles for DF games yet.
You could create your own by following these instructions http://www.nvidia.com/object/profiles.html . :D

Hi ~MOUSE~ I would love to make a profile of my own but I'm not sure what video settings I am supposed to use for that game, also with my 30kbps upload, kinda tricky cause I don't know if I'm being lagged in game, my ping is usually 100-150ms with the occasional 500ms,

I have a 1mb connection "30kbps Upload", have you any suggestions as to what settings I could maybe use to speed up play for me?

P.S. Yup I have all the Drivers. Also the card is a GeForce 4 model. :)

Every machine is different, so it is basically just tryal and error.

My Nvidia profile is:

Water/shadows/particle are not really needed.

I prefer having AA set to 2.

I can play at 1280*1024 but frame rates max about 34.
With 1024*768 frame rates vary between 30-56.
