There is no real general size for templates. The novahq templates are made to fit the resolutions. All templates are different and all different sizes.

800 x 600 is a common template size (if your pc's video snt that great) i make mine 1024 x 768...template size is up to the artists...just express yourself man..you wont be wrong...feel me:)

Ok, where are my posts dissapearing to... This is the second time one of my posts in a thread dissapeared....

Anyways, what i said before my message was misteriously deleted, was that alot of templates are made with a width of 800 - which has some room on the sides (like http://www.americasarmy.com or http://www.insomniacreations.tk/) And one like this will fit snugly into 800x600 resolution. Others, (Like my sig forums) and Nova HQ, the forums fit the size of your screen (i like them the best :) )

although you should make it slightly smaller than that, so ppl with a desktop res of 800x600 dont get scroll bars :)

756*534 fits perfect on a monitor of 800*600 unless the person has Windows XP and uses styled menu bars and such. The extra shadows and bevels make scrollbars pop up on the template stupid microsoft on that one.

Interesting sig MikeCoDBHD. Out of the ordinary but cool...
