Are you sick of Novaworld too...

Roll the dice...will I be able to log on or not, and even when I do log on at times, usually I just end up looking at a "contacting server" screen. This happens about 50% of the time, sometimes I even have to restart the computer just to try and log on again, even though I'm still connected to the internet. Is there a way to bypass Novaworld and enter the servers IP address like most games, (some kind of tool or something?) and will there ever be? By the way I even turn off my firewall, forward ports etc...doesn't matter.

Its funny how you can blame Nova for a power outage.

20x in 30days yea right, they must be really getting hack by hacker or they got a virus closing down like this. have to say for newer games they came out with is really getting harder to play on-line with others lately.

ehehehe may they over running thier new bandwith and the game is turning into a flop.

The area that NovaWorld servers are located is having a huge power outage. It's been out for a few hours, which means our backup resources have been spent.

Even they cant run for Long.......

OK, i have sympathy for u and won't hold it against u for long. (but it was very frustrating having just bought the game)

BUT, using generators means you can fuel them almost indefinately with gasoline or diesel fuel so long outages are ok.

a lot of places have battery backups AND then generators located outside to fire up if the outage is going to be longer than the batteries can handle. just something to think about for server uptime.

Sal, I understand what you're saying, I'm not blaming them for a power outage, (I'm in Florida using a generator now) but I am blaming them for a "usual" day of trying to get on. It's frustrating when a bunch of us are ready to play and half the time at least one can't log on. It goes back to my question-- Does anyone know if we will ever be able to bypass Novaworld and connect directly to the server's computer, a third party tool/utility? The game itself I have no complaints on.

What that has to do with getting into novaworld.com & nova servers? Power is out maybe nova needs to move to a better location that the power supply that is much better power company supplier with less power outage.
calif has the high price in power usage rate and taxs are way out there too.

Novalogic.inc could move to a better location and save money toboot and have better service.
