Wireless or Direct
 

I have wireless, and i am thinkin about putting cable right into my comp, will my connection be better? :cool:

it counts what your wireless speed is and what ADSL or Cable speed be. some wireless speed is 2-3Gb (celphone-hookup mostly use with laptops)

first off i assume you have wireless network / connection to your modem and not wireless internet conenction?

it wont make much difference really, unless you have a really fast net connecton and a slow wireless modem. or if your wireless is setup in a way that the signal is less then your net speed.

i guess the above is not the case, and you will get no benefit.


the only downside of my wireless connection is the speedlimit of 54Mbps (802.11g) when sharing over LAN. our old wired network was a hell of a lot faster for file transfer over the network but wireless / wired has zero difference in net connection.

these days routers add between 0 and 1 ms to ping times.

1.5 mb cable with a 11mb wireless router or somethin;)
