????Whats ur favorite band? I like Green Day, The OffSpring, Me First and the gimmy gimmies, Weezer, and some other punk bands, !!!! The starting line is cool tho to.

usher, lil john, ludacris, eminem, d12, badiel and skinner, fat les, lots of dance music, basically anything you can blare out of your bedroom or car window without being embarassed lmfao

When did this forum become so ageist?
I have never in all my life felt so old as discovering the youth of today think there are so few forms of music.

What about Funk, original style R&B, Folk, Soul, Northern or otherwise, pop, hip hop, classical, baroque, trance, dance, garage, thrash, ska, reggae, grunge, osft white and pussy metal?
Thats just what I can think about during a rant. There are so many more.

I like pretty much all the different types of music provided they are good forms of that genre.
I listen to as much Slipknot as I do Morrisey and as much good old fashioned Public Enemy as I do Beethovens Adagios.

All music is good. It's the regurgitated teenager friendly mass produced kack that makes us belive that we are limited to a genre we think our friends enjoy listening to.

An interesting effect of online file sharing and sites such as cokemusic and iTunes is that the machine processed hip hop trash we have to listen to on popular radio just doesnt sell since the industry lost its control over what is listened to and what is not by spending millions on exposure of stuff they think will sell easily, is easy to make and low cost to maintain.

Norah Jones and Kate Melua come to mind as two people that have stunned the music industry by being desperatley popular simply because they create good music with good tunes that people enjoy listening to.

I can't belive Green Day are still going though, they were around when I was a nipper, they must be in their 30s by now.
Good job though I spose. Good music by people that love it see?
