Template- to frames?

I made this template for one of my websites, but when i brought it to the program Frontpage i couldnt edit it at all. I know you can download templates at some sites that allow you to edit it and everything, but why cant i edit my template in frontpage.

Thanks

Its also quite crappy ;)
Tables are nicer and better (although slicing does create tables as of what i know? But theres usually very big images involved where there should be none)

anyway you can explain to me how to make these tables or show me a tutorial?

Frontpage has alot of bugs with sliced templates, and alot of templates you download have been slicced ;)

im not using frontpage to slice im using photoshop or i want to use it anyhow.

theres a slice tool on the tools panel, alls you have to do is click it drag the boxes around until you've sliced it the way you want (** Note: if you have a gradient you can try making it a repeating section if you want to have your site expand to 100% **) and then go to File > Save for web as.... Choose your optimization and hit save.... it'll output the HTML page for you and vuala you have it.
