Saving Games
 

I have XP Home with 512Mb on a P4. I downloaded several of the maps for DFLW and loaded them as instructed. I can play them but I can`t save a game. The F9 key won`t work or typing (savegame) in the console. Does anyone have an idea whats wrong. If I run one of the missions from the disk the save game function still works. This is in single player mode of course.

well if they are downloaded co-op u cant expect to save them. Most of theco-op maps are made for ppl to host and multiple people play them

you can only use saves in Nova's single player missions :/

I requested only single player. I don`t suppose you are suggesting these are not single player maps but they have been submittet or listed incorrectly are you.

you can use saves ont he missions that Nova made, ie. those that come on the cd.
you cannot use saves on custom sp maps you download. its a feature Novalogic feal they would leave out, that was nice of them :/

Man thats rough. Some of those maps are quite long in play. I hate gitting my --- shot off or blown halfway or more thru the game. Maybe we should bug them about this. I haven`t run into this befor.:eek:

Downloading to play single player?
 

Hey greyghost, come on over to multi-player Deathmatch, you will have a whole heap more fun ! Just log on and pick a site on the Public Games menu, and I garantee you will never go back to single player games. Only when Nova computers are down do I play single player games. I want to personally invite you to my Colored FOG sight. I host most every night starting at 8:30 PM Pacific time. I run a clean game, No cheat codes, No bickering, No bad language, and No offensive names. Will even be glad to give pointers during the game if you have never played multi-player.:guns: :machiene:

Ive never done this and tried to save but pack thae map into dflw.pff with the same name as one of the default maps, that might work.

play it on your own on coop with spawns :)
