No AGP slot on my motherboard!!!!!!
Okay I just bough Joint Ops.. I bought a ATI Radeon 9200 Agp video card because I knew the one I had could not work with JO. There is no AGP slot on my motherboard though. There is a space for it but no slot??!?!?!?! Do you have to buy a new motherboard or can you buy a AGP slot and just stick it on the motherboard where it goes, because there are three little holes where you put it in.

take your tower down a Pc shop i'll bit they can add it in for cheap price, or they can tell you get a new type of motherboard for it that will work with it better. always ask for a stock Number or modle number for the new motherboard if they tell you need another type, this way you can shop around for it. and read up on it.

Pent #4 4.2mhz (32bit or 64bit) is out too if you get a new one get the most for the bang you can get.

You cant add an AGP slot, it is hardwired to your motherboard. The slot your looking at is PCI. You'll need a new motherboard or a PCI fraphics card.
|
Take back the AGP card and get the 9200 PCI card from newegg.com
Or get a new motherboard. That's your choices. |
pci is just about too slow for j-o i think aint it?
even agp will dissapear from market when btx/mobo is out:eek: |
