Great network!
Hehehe I just read about this in my computer class. They have a network over a fiberoptic cable that goes at 10 Gbps. Holy forks that is fast! They are also trying to push 10 Gps on regular copper cabling. That would kick butt, you know how much freaking bandwidth that is :D
Yeah, that's pretty insane... They might be able to get 10Gbps on copper cable, it sure would be nice. Can you imagine surfing the web at that speed?
Yeah! You wouldn't need to wait for anything. It would own. Here in Utah we could have had that but noooooo...our state government they turned down the proposal to built "Utopia," a HUGE network of Fiberoptic all over here. Did you know there is something faster than a t3? OC-3 or E1 :D

LOL australia is still coming to grips with broadband ADSL and cable

What you ware talking about above is the OC -255 which has a speed of about 13 Gbits/s And the one you're talking about is also called Internet 2 and connects universities all over the world with Gbit connectivity. Also it wouldnt really matter as you're computer cant handle it, also it would still be as slow as the slowes link, ie the webserver your browsing. And so far the copper issue is still just a dreem and a goal. The top of a copper line is the material it self, unless they are able to purify the copper, they wont be able to push it much futher then what it is at the moment. And frankly i dont think they will be able to do that on ordinary copper, the current isnt light, it doesnt travel with the speed of light as the fiberoptics do. I do wish then luck though, i hope they are able to push it that far, but its not likley, its a dream. There is one way though, to compress the data which is transfered over the copper line, ie VDSL. They cant pass that type of info that fast on a copper wire unless the info is compressed. |

Yes but it is a nice dream. If everyone had a T1 the world would be a better place :D
I can get a t1 for about $80 a month :D I am not going to spend that much though ;) PS Vdsl owns. hehe blunt you should get a Raid O/1 4+ Harddrives :D :D |
yea i was going to say gold to, so much more better at conducting stuff, seee i payed attention in chemistry
:D I am soo proud :D
i try

Kewl, I just have one 120 with 2 partitions, works great for me, my friend found a 200 gig WD for $69
tell me where he lives and i can have a WD 200 gig for free :)
Hmmm.
