Sal UK 06-10-2004 10:51 AM

Doughboy and XCAL

Did you go into Nova Servers or Private Servers?

The reason I ask is because A lot of players are setting their servers for far too many players.

I have a 1Meg Connection but my Upload Speed is 256k that means I can Only Host 6 players, With an Upload of 512k its 11 players.
Just a bit of info just in case it was Private servers you were in. ;)

Revolution 06-10-2004 11:09 AM

im talking about screenlag, not connection lag.
i went into a NW server w/ about 64 players.. very screen laggy,

went into an RXR squad server with about 10 players, screen lag.. then i made my own and still got a bunch of screenlag.. ive quit gaming anyway.. i cant keep up lol.. im slow..

Sounds like you have your Graphics settings too high, I have a pretty crap system:

Athlon 2400+, 512 ddr 2100, Geforce FX5200 128ddr, WinXP Pro Sp1.

I have to have all settings on Low Exept for water on Normal, And an 800/600 screen res.oh and make sure AntiAliasing is off too.

It runs fine for me on them settings, Might be worth a try if you havent already.

Why pay so much? When you can buy an AMD64bit 3000+ and a motherboard for around 300 pound also you could get a top of the line Graphics card and still have around 1150 pound to play around with.

Its always better to UpGrade than to buy a whole new PC. ;)
