Where did ya hear that? Don't seem much point as it's due for release in 9 days.
Will they do another demo that close to the release? (assuming it happens!)

Actually some demos dont become availible until after the games release especially if the game dont do to good in the first couple of weeks.

But yes there is another demo the demo out now is the Official Beta Demo, The new demo will be the Main Official Demo.....

Also in 9 Days is only the US release....;)

were is the new Demo at to get it to download from?
only one listed is dated: 3/31/2004 at NL download page it a older one then the new one you all talking about?

CALABASAS, CA (June 8th, 2004) - Entertainment software developer and publisher NovaLogic, Inc. today announced that the official multiplayer consumer demo for Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising will be released on Wednesday June 9th, 2004. The demo replaces the existing beta demo released earlier this year.

Set in Indonesia in the near future, Joint Ops is the largest multiplayer Modern Combat FPS game ever released. Developed using NovaLogic’s enhanced Black Hawk™ engine, with superior multiplayer technology, the final game will let gamers play revolutionary 150 player games, across vast terrains online. Official 150 player games will be hosted over NovaLogic’s FREE online gaming service NovaWorld, while consumers can host their own 64 player games over NovaWorld or via LAN.

The demo will feature a brand new multiplayer 1km sq map tailored for 100 players and includes the following features taken from the retail version of game:

• 19 Land, Sea & Air drivable vehicles – Cut through the water in a Mark V boat, rain hell fire from above, while piloting an AH-6 Little Bird, or smash the domineering Stryker through enemy territory and a lot more! The retail version has 29 Vehicles.
• Take out the enemy & defend with valor with 27 modern-day weapons! Deliver a deadly long range message with a shoulder fired Stinger missile, or kick ass at close range with the M4 rifle with optional M203 grenade launcher. The retail version has 35 weapons.
• 5 Classes – 2 Countries – Fight as a Rifleman, Engineer, Gunner, Medic or Sniper from either the US or Indonesia. The retail version has 5 Classes, 7 nationalities and 67 different skin combinations.

i get lots of lagg:*(

Try going into a Nova Server even with my 1mb connection I only get 256kbs upload that means I can only host 6 players max, You will always get people hosting 32 and 64 players on systems that cant handle them....

Just in case that is why your getting so much lag m8.

The game is coming out in 7 days now. I just pre-ordered it too :)
