SYS DUMP !
 

I need some help here, i was having probs with DFLW so i uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Now after every game im getting SYS DUMP so i have to restart the game ok a pain in the ass but it works for a game or two the i get DFLW has caused a error DFLW will now close. So i have to reboot, reconnect and start again. It doesnt stop there, with my map editor it wont read /showall" says i must follow the path ? I have updated the vid drivers(no updates avail) this is happening on non EXP maps and EXP so not the patch thing, ive updated DFLW. SO what else is it :mad:

"c:\yourpathto\dflw.exe" /showall

There MUST be a space between the " and the /
Also are you using XP? as a lot of people have the sys dump problem with that.
I use XP and run DF in 98 mode so I get it once in a while but other than that everything has always been cool with XP and gaming.

course its medc.exe and not dflw.exe but you get the point

I dunno why ppl have so many problems with XP :(.. mine is great... no problems cept for the freezing one but that was easy fixed.. Its great now.. every game works without a problem and its ALOT faster to

No zz i got winME and yes the space is in there, i reinstalled win ME aswell. Im thinking of going to XP tho lol

The only way it could think your path was wrong was if its in the quotes or no space after it.
You put your showall in the quotes there. If thats a typos then I dont know whats going on.

ok i uninstalled DFLW and reinstalled it again with the updates and same thing, grr. Once again uninstall and reinstall it all and it works now! and the show all is working. Man what a headache must have been a bad install twice lol
Im still getting SYS DUMP at the end of the game on non EXP maps but its working again.

WAHOO i worked it out. I needed the EXP patch for the updated version that does need the patch?*? So now everytime I defrag I have to install the EXP Patch :confused: If ya can work this one out let me know. I need an EXP Patch for non EXP maps or i get a SYS DUMP at the end of the game.
