Satellite Internet & On Line Gaming

One of my regulars on my Colored FOG site for DFLW moved out in the country where no DSL or Cable is available. Their dial up internet service is so bad that CI's cause them to lose the connection every 10 minutes or so. They asked me if I knew if that new Satellite Internet works well for online gaming. Anyone out there use it? Is it good for online gaming?

1.) DirecPC.com
2.) Dish Network Internet Service
3.) Christian Internet Service
4.) Direct TV - Satellite Internet

i for one don't know about these service or how much they will charge for their service. or how good they are at all. only wish the best in the world.

Direct TV - Satellite Internet

One question, do you still need another source for upload, or is that done over satallite now? Just wondering, a friend on greenland said it sucked to play online with, but that was two years ago, and greenland. He worked/works for the ISP there so he should know. Has it moved forward or is it still in the stoneage? heh
