playing with friends against PC
 

Hello,
I am new at the forum. Please tell me if it is possible to play DF together with other (human) friends against computer?
I know that it is better to play against thinking opponent, but when there are for example only 3 people to play, it is boring.
So tell me if this is possible? If yes, where can I download a mod or something. Please, give the exact www adress if possible?
Perhaps I can play original single-player missions with my friends (instead of PC controlled soldiers) as a team?

yea theres a way. Host a cooperative game and make ur friends come

when u first enter the multiplayer options you have the choice to host or join a game, select host, then look for game type, select co-op, then just select the mission you want to run, only prob is on DF1 everytime a mission ends you hafta select another one and everyone has to rejoin, if you trust yer friends with yer IP or ya all are playin on LAN, have them join game by the IP or by LAN n then u got no prob with that either, missions available are the same as single players but the computer will adjust the AI's to account for more team members which is cool it means more kills for y'all
