Any 1 else got this problem before
 

Hey ppl, ive recently upgraded to Windows XP and since i did that my BHD map editor FREEZES everytime i click on "Edit Item Attributes"
Can sum1 PLEASE help me!

doh! it's a is less drastic than it sounds but maybe try reinstalling the game. if you uninstall it saves ur settings.

Hey Stevie B, i trid what u sed, it still dus the same, wen ever i click on edit itme attributes it freezes. i also tried the newer verion but that hasnt made a difference. "katanga" says it could be to do with my "BHDMED Compatilbility" However when u try to set this it only gives u the options of Windows 95,98,ME,NT,2000, ive tried them all and not a single one makes a difference. There must be ppl out there who are running BHDMED on XP. will some 1 please help me.

i think the same thing has happened to a lot of people. it did happen to me but it only lasted for a day at a time then it stopped doing it!?

it always happened after a clean install of windows, it would be fine until i update windows, then it would crash rather than freeze as you said. but still at the same point you said.

i don't know what the fix is though :/

try updating to the newest med, the one that came with the game was glitchy, i dont mean the one by DV i mean the one you get when you update the game...

ok lads thnx for the help, none of the things u suggested worked but hey i think i must be getting close. Oh well im sure it will sosrt itsself out....lol

i upgraded from Windows Me to Windows Xp pro only did you update your new Windows at all you may have to do that, and some time other programs may have to be restill to i found that out easy Cd writer 5 had to be restill and my Norton software toboot.

Me i said the hell with it i reformated my hard drive to NTFS was Fat32, but thats me and the new med file works ok it blink a bet when i edited some things in it or add something to the map.

you should update you Drivers from the older windows system to the new one, not all hardware will work with windows Xp family so check up on your hardware to get the new drivers for the Windows Xp, may it be your printer,scanner, sound card, video card, Tv-card, and what other hardware you may have all so your mother broad may it be Pent 4 or other type.
