I think thats its just circles that are cut and look like a cresent. and you just add a few of them and you get something like that... if you want me to make you a tut, i will...

yes for that i just made a curcle and cut it out ;)

There are a lot of icon fonts. Webdings etc. Some of them have some cool symbols. They can be blown up in photoshop and have a multitude of effects put on em. Oh, and Se7eN, thanx for the tut. I gives me some ideas.
