Lag attacks in bhd
 

Hey all i have been getting lag attacks lately it dont matter what server i am on.
They usually come every 3 to 5 mins and last about 10 to 20 secs and they annoy the hell outta me.
I have a 2Mbit connection with 512 ram 2.2ghz cpu and a NVIDIA GeForce Ti 4600 with 128 ram.
I never had any problems playing bhd til this crap came outta the blue about a month ago.

And sometimes the game totally freezes and i cant do nothing with the puter ususally during thease attacks i have enough time to (if close enough) to run behind a wall and lay down to wait out the lag attack.

Ive tryed to disable firewall, antivirus software etc but it dont seem to help so does anybody have any other ideas id be glad:D but right now i am so totally pissed off at this sh|t.

have you run a adware type program some type to see if you have a spyware working in the back ground, some time having a high speed connection also means getting a lot of spyware toboot. i have seen some my buddies having 300+ spyware in there system before it made them lag like crazy.

best run it to scan the system then after turn it off to play the game. it scan in the back ground to keep your system safe thats why you need to have it turn off for playing DVD, Games, it will scan and make the game skip or seem to lag playing a game with the DVD same thing.

Hum i downloaded the ad aware progs ran them found 20+ adware progs removed them closed off prog ran bhd and lag attacks still remain :(

I have seen some player's. what they call a “lag bomb” by stack of up items to blow up in the armory to make others players lag like hell, they think its funny. I call them boring players who can't play a D*me. best way to till if this is happing watch over the armory you see players going into it and hanging there and stacking up items to blowup, what they are doing making the server lag and seen some players get punted out do to this. at one time seen 12 players leave after they did this, one right after another. in a roll.

anyone see any one doing this report them to support@novalogic.com and report what they are doing and take a screenshot of them doing it and show what they are stacking in the screenshot. include all the info as you would do a cheater report, only change the cheater name to rule breaker making it lag like crazy by making up a lag-bomb.

what i seen the game seem to lockup for 2-3sec then be fine for 5min they do it again.

well i dont recon that its a lag bomb that causes my lag attacks since i get them in empty servers where i have been all alone checking my lag issues at and i still get those lag attacks.

are u on a network? do u use any programs like Kazaa or anything like that? If you are using Win2k or WinXP try leaving the game, alt tabing out, and then go to the Task Manager and see what else is running besides of course BHD, other then that, perhaps try pinging the Server see what your Ping is to the server.
