Today's the 15th December. 3 more days for the TROTK premiere. Wooohoooo!!!

Let's see who's gonna watch it first. Consider this thread as a "spoiler".... but hey... i wanna reserve this thread for the TROTK viewers/fans.

Just jump on the bandwagon dudes & put your comments/thoughts or whatsoever bout the movie here.... LOL!!!

i'm NOT going to see the premiere. i'll wait 1 more day and then watch the original (untranslated) version :D


but i have a bad feeling about the 3rd part...
i haven't read anything about it, but from a filmographic viewpoint, the story has a MAJOR problem:
the story goes on for quite a while AFTER the big showdown at the red mountain.... i fear they will cut it off, because a lot of people (who don't know the book) are used to that kind of ending :(

but on the other side... in the special extended edition for the first part, we got about 30minutes extra, 45 for the 2nd and there are RUMORS that the return of the king SEED is going to be 6 hours total.....

but let's see

heard the same rumour about the special edition extended version too.

I've also heard that TROTK will be 4hrs 20mins. I'm not sure my butt could take it that long at the cinema. LOL!!!

Yeah... the tickets for the premiere till the 22nd are fully booked... could you believe that? Damnit!!! I could only catch the movie on the 23rd.

Cant wait to see the battles at the Pellenor Fields. They say it makes the battle of Helm's Deep seems like a minor skirmish.

Played the TROTK on the PS2 console... a bit of a spoiler but heck.... loved the game... its better than the two towers (game)

your butt will be ok, it's only 3 hours 20 minutes ;)

apart from what happens after the ring is destroyed, it's really good. especially the ............... were great :eek:

now let's wait for the special extended edition :D

one of the best movies of all time, it is 3 and a half hours long, though...seen it twice =)

the battle of the pellenor field was AWESOME!!!! I even felt like joining the war-cry during the rohirrim charge. "Forward Eorlingas"!!!!

Eowynn & Sam was the real hero in the movie.

i think gollum will win best supporting actor award again next year. LOL!!!

i am going to wait it out till the DVD comes out, it may cost a lot more but hey i can wait it out and watch it as i like best part i can book mark it as i watch it and later get back to it watch it more. PowerDVD a plus love it.

The movie is a must.

Peter Jackson and Co. really outdid themselves in this movie.

no way!!!!.... u shouldn't wait for the dvd dude... although rumors has it that there'll be additional 1 hr 15mins in the extended version... but it would be somewhere in fall next year till that version will be out.

u've gotta watch it at the cinema unless u got a big ass Plasma TV or projection screen with a kick ass home theatre system. You definitly need to experience the big screen for the battle scene at Minas Tirith & the Pelennor Fields.

Watching the movie this weekend for the 2nd time & this time i'll make sure the seats are better than the 4th row from the screen (LOL!!!!)

it was good and all, but it dragged on for too long... frodo didnt die!! but uh... how did sam get two kids in such a short amt of time...?!

damn.... i'm suppose to trick the ones that havent seen the movie to believe that frodo died. THANKS secretx!!! LOL!!!

yup... it kinda dragged to long during the ending where thy're trying to immortalize the hobbits characters.

actually the scene of the battle at the black gate was really BAD! Of all the battles between Helms Deep, Minath Tirith, Pellenor Field & Osgiliath.... this battLe was the worst. It should be the Climax! Although we know that the Witch King was dead by then. This is the battle that King Aragorn suppose to show his generalship prowess & strategem of the battlefield but yet they fought like the "somalians" in Black Hawk Down... LOL!!!

well it was suppose to be 4hrs 20 mins dude. Lets wait for the 5 disc DVD extended version then. Imagine an additional 1 hrs of footage... woohooo...

I thought it was a very good movie.

Heard a rumor about Peter Jackson planning to come up with the Lord of the Rings prequel: The HOBBIT.

Well, if y'all like the LOTR than just wait for:

1. Troy
2. Alexander
3. King Arthur
4. Last Samurai

This year will be full of epic scaled sword-fighting movies.

p/2: Well if u like comic books based movie.... then just wait for the Catwoman, The Punisher, Hellboy & Spiderman 2.

Saw it with a friend two days ago. Awesome movie. One of the best i've ever seen. I couldnt wait for it to end cause i had to pee soooooo badly.And the ladly sitting next to us said we were rude.(LOL)I'm sorta annoyed though cause i wasted my money to see it when i was goignt to buy the Two Toweres exstended version.But that will have to wait. And in reply to umm somebody, Its actually a long period of time before Sam has those kids.Ya got to read the book.The fight at the black gates was good i thought.How they were surrounded by the orcs.Sad how Frodo goes off with GAndalf and bilbo to the undying lands though.Cant wait to he makes the hobbit into a movie i loooooved that book.Right now i heard hes going to remake King Kong which sounds pretty good.And btw, The Last Samuri is an awesome movie too!
