Hello everyone,

I've always been a big fan of ATi, (I don't like nVidia as much). But, i've gotten a bit tired of seeing that glowing nVidia ring logo video on almost every game i own. So, i decided to make something to support ATi

Any of you ATi lovers feel free to use this in your sig :)

i hate my ati. radeon 9550. their service is ****e. its basicly like you buy the card then they kick your arse out the door. dont matter if it breaks.

no they are only stating a fact with putting the logo on there, the games are made to run on nvidia, nvidia works with the gaming companies so the game runs great on their cards.

i used to like ati .. but then the 7800gtx came along ..

then the ati card went out the window???

Well, you probably didn't get anything done because that card is like 5 or 6 years old...
I haven't tried thier customer service, but i haven't heard of any computer company's service being good

Speaking of service, NEVER buy an HP computer. Or you will [literally] be dealing with the kind of service like that tech support video of that squirrel talking a mile a minute to that middle-eastern guy. What was that website?! I can't remember right now.

Then ATI's X1800 came out which currently is faster than any card nVidia has right now:

ati here.. I have 3 ati cards in use atm with no problems, have owned 6, and have bought about 10 total for other peoples pc's including mine. never had a problem except the time i broke the heatsink clip on one. i have only ever had one nvidia, a geforce2 MX400

kinda the same with amd/intell. first computer was an intel PII450MX and all the rest (like 15 that I have built for me and others..) are amd based..

if you think the x1800xt is good wait till Q1/2 next year when the ATi R580 chip is released :) Rumor has it that one card is twice as fast as 2 nvidia 7800GTX in SLI mode..

uh i'll stick with my two 7800 GTX's for now...

Hmm.. I'll have to check into that R580 chip. I think the only reason that support has risen for Nvidia so much is because ATI didn't have a good year in 2005 (They had to delay the release of some cards).

And i'm the same way - i like AMD much better than Pentium. You get "alot more speed for the money" :)

see you say rumor...being ati hasn't said anything about this. If that's the case, you can bet Nvidia already has a card better than ATI's rumored card. In which case, you can sli together and have 4 x's the power.

But they dont ;).. the x1800xt and GTX are pretty close cards. When more manufactures release there crossfire motherboards for ati things in the sli department will change also..

What, you mean the R580 chip is a rumor? I quoted Panther on that, so take that up with him lol.

And, yes the X1800 isn't available for some kind of dual setup yet. But, i mean does it really matter anyway? I sure don't have $500 - $700 laying around. And just because ATI had to delay the release of many of thier cards doesn't mean that Nvidia will always have a better card released before ATI.
