BHD Teleport Target
 

I heard somebody talk about it before, And I noticed it today while editing (never noticed it before).

In BHD in the Marker section of Insert Item ... popup window, ... is a marker named "teleport target"

What is it for ?? and how can I use this??

The teleport can be used to bring new items into play...ie. have a truck and troops suddenly appear behind the player.

You need to place ..say a truck..over on one corner of the map...way out of the way...make the truck say..group10

Now, create a teleport target, edit it's item attributes, call it number 1, up in the right hand corner...now make it group 10 also.


The Item to be transported, and the teleport target must be in the same group, and the only 2 things in that group.

now, you need an event....

create an area trigger, call it number 1

now, the event, someting like this..

event1
trigger
if group1 in area 1

action
teleport group 10 to teleport target 1
