Condascode at an end!!!
 

Very recently Conda, the maker of the Anaconda Server/Remote manager announced that he was discontinuing his software tools for the DF community and closing his site, the reason for this is because he is sick of the abuse and ungratefulness of a small minority of the community and at the same time, only a very small minority have been quick to back him up. I have created a petition in the hope that i can get as many names on it as possible to show conda the true gratitude and support that he really has within the community. Please sign your name off if you agree with what is said in the petition and please circulate the link to the petition to as many DF sites as possible.

i like to see both side of a story before i sign on this bandwagon. i known a lot of people love conda's Anaconda Server/Remote manager, i have not heard anything bad about it why would they knock him down for it? or flame him. sorry i don't have a clue i like to know all before i sign some petition.

i like to hear the good and bad review of it.

I understand the length of making software, wheter i like it or not, you should respect people. IMHO people need to lay back, if you don't like it, ditch it, or if necessary make a case about it, and if you lose or are out voted, leave it alone. I don't see any possible reason to bash it tho.

Basically conda reached his limit with all the complaining against his anaconda server manager.

A post was made that cause conda right then and there to call it quits.

he said he was going to close down the site, and delete his source code. Which ment no more versions of Anaconda server manager.

Fortunitly, it looks like he has changed his mind about closing the site down. Hopefully he will also decide to continue coding anaconda.


I think the petition is to show conda that there are people out in the community that really do respect his work and would hate to see it quit.

will i can only hope the best for him, i do know a lot do love his programing codes he work really hard and there going tobe some who will talk crap about any program that is made, i only hope he knows more people love it then the one who can't stand it at all.

he should never let them get to him, hell i really think he could take a leave from it all (take a break) for a week or two. go out and have some fun.

yes i seme to have a problem with the link, but i would love to sign it as anaconda has made so many clans that cant aford a server have their own server.

i had to abort connection with condascode.com, it only happen after i log-in to the site

it only happen the first time i log-in i had to abort the connection but i gone back i did not log-in a 2nd time the forum loaded up ok without no virus alarm going off.

as of last week he finnaly got his site all clean up and that virus is totally gone now that was there its no more.

it was a java worm it is gone now.

i tryd to sign it but page wouldnt log in, id hate to lose this program[FooterMAK*]
