would u more likely play in a tourney if there was prizes for the winners?

realistically what would u expect as a prize?

jus curious, feedback would be great.

I would just play for the fun if i win i win if i lose i lose as long as u have fun and do ur best its all good,but a prize would be nice like a sneak peek of DF4 or maybe some money :nerd:lol

prizes would be cool


maybe a graphics card or something that deals with df

or a optical mouse or something

thanks for the info guys. i am actually working on this but u must understand that we cannot afford any worthwhile prizes unfortunately :( if anyone has any suggestions about which sites u think might be interested in sponsoring tournies or whatever please let us know ;) any suggestions are welcome

you could have an entry fee. and the winner of the tourn can take the cash and split it or whatever

its a great idea that i already thought of. there is a few problems.

how do we get the money?

what if someone pays then pull out and want their money back?

how much would ppl pay? could be say £1 but then we would have to get loads of ppl to join up to make it worth it. we coudl charege £10 but there wouldnt be many sign ups.

i dont want to sound like im being an a$$**** but if we r to do something liek that then we need to think of every possible thing that can go wrong.

but ur right. cash is the best prize:)

How about a little featured spot on the front of df-hq along with ss's and whatever else. A little publicity might go a long way for some people ... nonames (like myself) would love to see our name in lights or "on the front cover/page" ;)

Stevie the reason i only have a 32 mb DDR and you didnt mention it was a DDR but i just didnt upgrade it yet cause i like it thats the only reason why

and the reason a graphics card and opti mouse was suggested cause he though it was a good prize to win, thats the only reason why.
