No hosting behind a DSL-Router ????
 

I have a DSL-Router (Fiberline 2040).

I want to host, but no one can join the game.

Everone finds my Game in the list from Novaworld. But if someone want s to join, there is no connect possible.

The Router is on DMZ.

Do someone know the Ports ?????

UDP and TCP or so..

Is there a Router,who has no problems with DFBHD ???

I was able to host the DEMO behind the Router.

Pse help me.....

try the one from DFLW and DFTFD:

Outgoing and Incoming port: 17478

My firewall says

17479 UDP. But its still not working...

you have to tell your computer what ip# to use + gate way ,subnet mask default gate way and DNS server in local area connection

homm did you even READ the post ??? he said 17478 ! not 17479 !!! lol

Both ist not working. And IP and DNS is all correct. Was working with the Demo before.

The correct port is 17479 for BHD and that is according to Nova.


I have the same problem. Even if I set the port on the server to 17479 and start the server I cannot join it from another pc in the network with its port set to something different.

And yes I have the ports forwarded.

Anyone else have this problem?
KNow how to fix it?

It was the router . Now i got Netger 614 and it works.

I was able to get mine to work.

For some reason it required a reboot after changing the ports in the dfv.cfg.

The simple things sometimes!

or was it the bottom one systerm settings
l also have a netgear rp614

I dont have a netgear but you change the mp_gameport so that they are different on each PC.
