DF3.net allowing cheaters to post?

DF3.net - the largest Delta Force forum - is now allowing cheaters to post freely at the site. They have had their account unbanned. If the mods don't change their views on this issue, not only will they lose a stack of members, but it'll be a final stake in the DF series. Our forums are still clean :p :D. |
Its disgusting - the premium members support that site now, yet they weren't even asked for their opinion. Another poll clearly states ppls views on the issue - over 80% say get rid of them. If the admins don't wake up soon then I'll be looking for a new forum or leaving online gaming altogether.

as long as there is still no links to trainers or trainer sites i don't see there being too much problem. both cheaters and anti cheates have been warned about flaming for no reason etc.

I am infact Riddler*TCB* and i feel that if ******* allows anti-cheats to post freely DF3.net should also. This states in the constitution as Freedom of Speech. DF3.net has done the right thing here if you ask me

I've had a look at DF3.net, which I don't bother with alot mainly cos every forum is a flame forum in my opinion. What they have done doesn't seem like a bad idea, all they've done is said that cheats can post under there actual tag's instead of postin under different identities. The rules are still in place, and if they do post any links to trainers, or anything like that, they will be banned.
Also I should add that Marcus Beer has posted about it, saying that he supports the sites desicion, and has also said that he personally condems cheaters. They have made some reasonable suggestions about the game, and so have some of the less stupid people who post on the DF3.net. May as well give them a chance, and if they start getting abusive for no reason, or start posting links, they get banned again, its a lose - lose situation for them if they do it. I'm not saying I support cheaters, but most of what goes on at DF3.net is flaming of cheaters, so should they not have a say, also you may learn some stuff about the games, and if nova took advantage of it, they may find some cheaters may be willing to help them improve the game, and make it more cheat proof. I expect I'll get some people having a go at me about this view, but then again this is my opinion, and with freedom of speech an all I get to express it. Cathar |
I "was" a premium member. I cancelled it because "WE" werent informed of the change prior to it. Since we paid for our membership, we were at least due that.
And as far as Marcus Beer, He's just a PR guy doing his job. Which, BTW, he most likely has a budget for, but he is USING the DF community for free. Not adding to the community, but using them as his FREE focus group. All of this means that the members that tried to help, get kicked in our wallets. |

Happened to see this post. I never knew there was a DF3.net. Anyways, went to check this out and there was a post from one of the moderators there saying that they are not going to allow cheaters to post. I guess they got to much heat. What were they even thinkin of in the first place. Happy Trails |
Ive been a member on df3.net for a while now. I have made the decicion not to associate my self with cheaters. Therefore I'm dropping my account there. On principal.

That Novalogic doesnt do something about getting those cheaters..... Because its clear that you may not use such thing with df, and i know it somewhere in the agreement that you have to accept before installing the game.
So Novalogic should ask df3.net for ip' s and ban them from their servers. |
I agree, I've been playing DF from the first game untill now. Ive been on some realy good squads, and was part of starting a good squad , always with 2 things in mind, absolutly no cheating or glitching, and good sportsmanship " Its a game". I guess thats why I have changed my name and now only play in private rooms. You should see all the flaming cheating name calling and glitching.
