bhd name colours explained
 

hi all well you probably have never seen me before but i run with a squad called recon australia,i am a core member there and like to help out wherever possible,our squad has been studying this name colour stuff and i can tell you all this much..if press t for talk then type < c this will let you into the colour scheme(thats the hard part)and after that command play around with 3 ,4 ,5 ,6 ,7 number combinations ie < c a 1 9 0 0 0 > NOTE.always finish your combination with the opposite arrow.so you cxan go < c a > for black or < c a b > for blue or < c a b l a b l a b a > for white or < c b l u e 4 4 > for a flouro green,there are heaps of colours but you have to play around a lot.ok so thats writing in different colours now to do it so your tag stays thats colour go and enter these commands into bhd name editor and your name will be changed to that colour command permanently...NOTE...the bhd name editor only allows you to process 15chars so if you go < c a b > k²ròó*®å* that equals 14 chars so there is some restriction.hopefully i have been of some service to the bhd community as this game rocks.if you need contact me i have a icq(trillion) contact number 143001924.(remember that i have put spaces between all the combos here so that i could actually show you how its done,when actually doing it in the game keep all the combos 1 word...no spaces)

yes html codes work to,but they r just the same as trying different combos and consist of just as many chars
,im currently trying to work out how to add more chars to the character map but it will take a long time so that you can have a 2 coloured name...bugger you stevie lmao...good stuff m8...if i learn anything more about this dilemma i will let df-hq know.......ps if you add b in the combo it will turn your print to bold,if you add u what you type will be underlined and if you type i you will get italics.

i was wondering if the creators of the name editor (tr or ewe)v0.0.7 were able to explain to me if it is possible to be able to create a name editor with more than 15 possible chars?is this acheivable i dont know but im trying to get to a position where squads can use a multi coloured tag,so far if your combat tag is say 6 chars eg k²*®å* that only leaves you 9 possible chars to play around with colour.because some of the colour combos can get quite long the only possible colours ive been able to blend is < c a > black < c a b > blue, so there is 9 chars in that and only leaves you 6 chars left so if you could all understand that lol does anyone have any ideas on this eg shorter colour codes or more physical chars in a name editor?

I have seen a few people with this stuff and it kinda looks messed up,lol. I saw one that i did like,it was a name on slight slant to the right,and underlinded. Looked preaty cool to!

My only problm with it is when colored names come up in the meassage bar i dont know if its for team chat,or if it was sent to everyone with T. Its verry confusing at times.:*(

I know a lot of people have already tried to explain this but i'm gonna try to do it in a simle way which everyone should be able to understand.

All codes are written inside a pair of 's. These should be replaced with < and > to make it work.

Heres the code:

'cRRGGBB'

R = Red
G = Green
B = Blue

Examples:

'c119999' = Cyan
'c991199' = Pink
'c999911' = Yellow

So if you want your name in cyan you just type 'c119999'Name in your player profile.

Note: Please do not use this in any server but your own unless you know that is it alright with the rest of the players in that server. A lot of people are annoyed by these colours including myself and I know some servers simply kick everyone with colour in their name. Respect other players.

One thing to keep in mind.

When you change the color of your nametag a medic will not see a change in color telling that your lifelevel (or what do you call it) is 50%.


If you want the full attention of medics, don't change it

I tried it and my name changed in player profile, but not in actual game? Is it because I registered with Nova and THEY have tochange it?

i may be wrong, but i'd think the colors are hexadecimal(R,G,B each ranging from 0 to FF (255 dec))
just like in normal HTML, so you get real TrueColor

ummmm . couldn't get it to work either way ... either through the name editor ((( it came up "<cab>FUN" or by typing it in the profile
