need map help
 

my map is stuck or something...
i am making a BO map for dfx2
with nile and it will no longer edit
or the game keeps loading an earlier version
even if i delete the map files from the game folder
and it still see's the map and will play it...
My mind is boggled ...any help

Hi Buddy, maybe the map mission name is different to the map file name?

What I mean and As Far As I Know DFX2 will show the map title not the BMS filename

i use Nile . and i can use windows explorer
and delete all maps from the game directory
and i can still play the map and no mater what i do to it in the Nile and save it all changes
are not saved even if i save it some where else and copy it to the game folder...this has happened several times before never could figure it out...

Does your OS have a Virtual Store folder? Like mine has C:\Users\Riggs-Pc\AppData\Local\VirtualStore, when I edit and save a map the files in my BHD folder had the older version and the new saved version I always find it in the Virtual Store. Drove me nuts because I would delete it from BHD but still can play it. Now I always look at time I saved map so I know I have the latest update on that map.
