Terrain Editor?
 

Just curious if it is possible to edit the terrain in Joint ops? I did a little search and found next to nothing talking about it. I'd assume you'd have to start from scratch but I'm curious if it is possible? :headbang:

depends on what of the terrain you want to edit, texture references? depth map? if the depth map is what you want to edit then it is not possible, there's no tool to do that from what i've investigated.

I have seen custom terrains but can't find any as yet, as a quick answer for now though I think they comprise about 3 files .TGA .CPT and .TRN you can use them for SP maps or for Multiplayer maps all players must have the files inside the game folder to join.

The tools you would need are a 3d modelling tool of some sort, a graphics editor and the tool in the link above... I think (just off the top of my head) :b2:

And yes It was the depth I wanted to modify. That or create a new terrain map from scratch. Super surprised there was not a terrain creator made publicly available for this!

Honestly I was very surprised they gave us anything at all and even more surprised at the extent and scope of what they did give us.
