Blender3d .Tecceh2

Hey all, anyone use blender3d here, and do you if it'll be a good tool for doing abstract images / sigs / gfx? Looking at the official gallery, it could be quite interesting, i'm using it at the mo and its loads different to c4d (http://blender3d.org/cms/Images.151.0.html).
