We need your opinions!
 

We're currently looking for some opinions on the newley released Joint Ops Escalation.

We want to know what's good, what's bad, about the new features, weapons, vehicles, maps etc. and a score out of 10.

You can make it as long or short as you like. After we check it out we will add it to the Reviews section pending our approval.

im not very good with reviews but this game owns :D, at last u wont see any more n00bs taking off in new choppers alone because u need a pilot AND a gunner, this game brings teamwork togeather.
almost every vehicle requires teamwork, tanks are fast and furious :)
but u cant get out of the seat when u r reloading the tank, so if u get a javalin on u when u are reloading, u have got a short time to get out.
javalins can only lock on to ground vehicles, all excepy the dirt bikes, it stops the tanks but turning them red and/or setting them on fire and pretty much destroys any other vehicle.
anti tanks mines are great for crowded areas, just plant a few and you are guaranteed a kill.
like the new JO:TR update flares can only be fired my passengers, and 3rd person cameras help to look out.
the parachutes are great, u need to select them at the armoury and can only be used once untill u get a new one, they open automatically and glide u down to safety, unless u get shot down, hehe
i think nova did a good job on this, even though there are a few glitches still in it.

i'm guessing there is no UK release yet. but it has been released in the US.

there is no real news on novalogic.com at all, pretty stupid IMO to not have much info about their new game!

I've found J.O. Escalation on sale at "Game" stores in my local shopping mall retailing at £19.99 so it's available in the U.K. now:)!!!!

OK Here I Go.....

VEHICLES:

They rule the game now, which to me is good, BUT they turn the game even more into a coordinated team effort.

The tanks are nice to have because they provide a great weapon for covering and moving through terrain. OH and the minigun on the tanks (THEY HEAT UP....so don't hold that trigger down if you don't need to).

The motorcycles are fun as hell and they make the game fun to just ride around and make great mini assault teams. They are the best way to get around hills and tough terrains.

Apache........I need a moment.

OK....This is a very nice addition to the game. No longer will a n00b get into this baby and take off by himself. YOU NEED A GUNNER AND A PILOT!!! TEAMWORK!!!

The SUVs are easier to maneuver now and the added 3rd person view for drivers is very nice. (Thies person view works on all the vehicles, which is pretty good...best used while driving the tank and just cool as hell while on the motorcycle.

PLAYER CLASSES

I had confidence in NOVA when they made the changes. Now that I see the game and played it, it makes even more sense the changes they made. The gameplay really has a fairness to it, as it doesn't give any one class an advantage or a substantial disadvantage.

PARACHUTES ARE THE COOLEST THINGS!!!!!! TRY IT!!!! YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!!!

Just fly your self to the drop point and drop!!!! NICE!!!

TEAMWORK IS KEY!!!!! TEAMWORK IS KEY!!!!!

I say that twice cause the game has reached that point where if you're a solo player.....you're not going to fair well in the game.

Every vehicles requires teamwork and the new maps definitely make it so that you WILL NEED TO WORK TOGETHER!!!!

My opinion....BUY IT!!!! IT'S WORTH IT!!!!

So there is a third person view that you can see the Helos and such? Is there 3person in JO TR...in the demo there was not and I hated it :)
